The IP address allows computers to communicate with each other using the internet. It serves as Identification for your device, and it is unique.

If you are here, I think you have encountered an error message saying, “Ethernet doesn’t have a valid IP Configuration.” This means your system is not receiving proper IP configuration from DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).

This error is usually due to improper installation of network drivers, outdated drivers, improper network configuration, or your ISP encountering issues.

To help you resolve this issue, here are some ways you can fix Ethernet that doesn’t have a valid IP Configuration.
