JustBrowse is a software program that once installed, integrates into Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. This program is designed to collect and store information about the user's web browsing habits and then sends this information to remote servers. The purpose of this data collection is to provide targeted advertising in search results and other areas of the browser. In addition, JustBrowse may alter the browser's home page and search provider, display pop-up advertisements, and track and report web surfing behavior. Furthermore, JustBrowse is capable of displaying targeted search results and pop-up advertisements based on the user's web search terms. It also adds its own browser toolbar and installs a browser helper object (BHO) in Internet Explorer to monitor web search terms and implement the browser toolbar. Additionally, the program has the ability to send event logs and other system-related information to a server, as well as automatically download and install updates without user notification.
