SeeqDo

The SeeqDo software is a browser toolbar and web extension that operates as a form of adware. Its primary function is to control the user's web browser by altering the search provider and redirecting searches to a specific search engine partner, with whom the publisher has a financial relationship. This is done in order to increase the likelihood of users clicking on sponsored advertisements through search results. The toolbar can also perform various other actions, such as changing the default home page, search provider, and address bar, as well as updating itself without user initiation. Additionally, it can modify the 'new tab' functionality, provide alternative error pages, and protect search and home page settings. The software can also capture and access the HTML of visited pages and URLs, and inject advertising through context ads, pop-ups, and pop-unders.
