Yula

Yula is an adware application developed by Yontoo, a division of Sambreel Holdings located in Carlsbad, CA. This software, a rebrand of various web browser extensions offered by Yontoo, is typically distributed as part of a download bundle. Upon installation, Yula installs itself as a web browser add-on or extension, adapting to different browsers such as Chrome, IE, and Firefox. The application injects various forms of advertising into the browser, including inline text, multi-site searching, related search results, comparison shopping popups, and various banners and popups/popunders showcasing additional offers, including standard ads and unwanted software. Aside from displaying advertisements, the adware extension also modifies the web browser's settings to facilitate its ad injection offers. Notably, it automatically disables Internet Explorer's two-second load warning without user notification, preventing the browser from alerting the user to potential performance issues caused by the adware. Additionally, it adjusts the browser's Instant Search feature and modifies it so that clicking on a search engine results page link will open the page in a new browser tab.
