NetTock

NetTock is an adware application distributed by Yontoo, a division of Sambreel Holdings based in Carlsbad, CA. This software functions as a rebranded version of various web browser extensions offered by Yontoo, all bearing similar names. Upon installation, NetTock integrates itself as a web browser add-on or extension, compatible with browsers like Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox. It injects a variety of advertisements into the browser, such as inline text, multi-site searching, related search results, comparison shopping pop-ups, and banners, along with pop-ups/pop-unders offering additional offers, including both standard ads and unwanted software. In addition to serving ads, the adware extension modifies the web browser's settings to enable its ad injection activities. Upon installation, the software automatically disables Internet Explorer's two-second load time without explicit notice to the user, potentially causing unwanted effects. Furthermore, it alters the browser's Instant Search feature and configures it so that clicking on a search engine results page link opens the page in a new browser tab.
