The extension analyzes the content of web pages visited by the user and tracks URLs and navigation. It also uses an 'auto-enabled updater' to add features as desired after installation through a Windows service. The Terms state that BetterBrowse content includes advertisements, and user information is collected and shared for ad relevance and other purposes.
