VisualBee New Toolbar

The VisualBee New Toolbar is a browser plug-in created by Conduit, designed to work with popular web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox. The toolbar is supported by advertising and serves to display ads within the bar as well as modify the browser's home page and search settings in order to gather usage data. Typically bundled with third-party developer programs, the toolbar helps monetize free (and some paid) software. When installing the software, users may be prompted to modify their home and search pages, although this option is often pre-selected and overlooked. If the software is uninstalled, the user will need to manually revert their settings. As per the End User License Agreement (EULA), Conduit may automatically download and install remote updates and collect and store details about the user's web browsing activities. This information is stored locally on the PC and is used by the toolbar application to suggest additional services or provide more targeted advertising. The license agreement also states that by using Conduit software, the user may enable the company to access, use, and collect various personal and non-personal information regarding their Internet browser, browsing habits, and computer details.
