ShoppingHelper

ShoppingHelper is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that may install a toolbar, modify your browser's homepage, and change your default search engine. This adware is also capable of injecting advertisements into your browser, a tactic known as ad injection. These injected ads can appear as text, banners, flash, or hyperlinks within the browser window, often with low relevance and potential to serve malware, adware, or other PUPs. Additionally, ShoppingHelper may track your web browsing history and activities, sending this information to a command and control server. This software poses a risk to user privacy and may compromise the security of the affected system.
