The former software company MetaCreations, which was later merged into Viewpoint Corporation, was a result of the merging of MetaTools, Fractal Design, Ray Dream, Specular, and RTG. It was renowned for its graphics applications, including Ray Dream Studio, Fractal Design Painter, Bryce, and Kai's Power Tools. Following the merger, the company transitioned into an Internet marketing technology company, now distributing the Viewpoint Media Player.
