Vafmusic2 Toolbar

The Vafmusic2 Toolbar is a 'Community Toolbar' developed by Conduit, which integrates into popular web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox. This toolbar operates as an advertising-supported program, displaying ads within the toolbar and making adjustments to the browser's home page and search settings to gather usage statistics. Often distributed alongside third-party developer programs, the toolbar serves as a means to monetize free (and some paid) software. During installation, users may be given the option to personalize their home and search pages, but these options are typically preselected and overlooked. Upon removal of the software from the user's computer, manual reversion of the settings will be necessary. Per the End User License Agreement (EULA), Conduit is authorized to automatically download and install remote updates and gather details about the user's web browsing activities, storing this information locally on the PC. This data is used to provide additional services and targeted advertising through the toolbar application. The EULA states, "By Using a Conduit Software you may enable Conduit to access, use and collect a variety of information, both personal and non-personal, regarding your Internet Browser, your browsing habits, and information about your computer".
