The BigFix Agent, installed on managed devices, acts as a versatile policy engine capable of delivering various management services. It allows for real-time client status reporting, patch and software distribution, and security policy enforcement. Moreover, the BigFix Agent promptly notifies the BigFix Server and Console of any changes in managed device configuration, providing a real-time view of device status.
