The BigFix software suite comprises the BigFix service delivery platform and a range of bundled on-demand BigFix Policy Modules and Extensions, available as BigFix Solution Packs. These solution packs are tailored to specific solution areas, including security threat suppression (BigFix Endpoint Protection), security configuration management (BigFix Security Configuration and Vulnerability Management), and systems management (BigFix Systems Lifecycle Management). The platform enables the delivery of specific security and system management services through BigFix Policy Modules and Extensions. Solution Packs are designed to integrate collections of thematically-linked Policy Content modules, and customers have the option to license individual modules to augment the capabilities of a BigFix Solution Pack or to create custom solutions tailored to their specific needs. In addition to the software offering, BigFix provides comprehensive services such as training, which covers BigFix operations and the custom Fixlet authoring language, as well as installation, implementation, and custom Fixlet message content authoring services. Ongoing user support is also available to assist customers with their software deployment and utilization.
