PC-cillin 2000

PC-cillin 2000 is a software program developed by Trend Micro. Upon installation, the software adds a Windows Service that runs continuously in the background. Stopping the service manually may cause the program to malfunction. It also includes a background controller service set to automatically run, with the option to delay its start through the service manager. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception to ensure uninterrupted access. Additionally, a context menu handler is added to the Windows shell to provide quick access to the program. The setup package typically installs approximately 39 files, with a total size of about 519.5 KB (531,968 bytes). Most users running this software are on Windows XP and Windows 7 (SP1). While the majority of users are from the United States, the software is also popular in Germany.
