In addition to displaying ads, Gorillaprice may also modify browser settings, such as lowering security settings, changing the home page, and altering the search provider (a practice known as web browser hijacking). Furthermore, the extension can collect and report user behavior data, including visited URLs and domains, as well as information about displayed and clicked advertisements.
