SmileysWeLove is a browser extension that may exhibit unwanted behavior as it functions as a toolbar when integrated with the web browser. To achieve this, the toolbar engages in various actions aimed at increasing user interaction with sponsored advertisements during search activities. These actions include, but are not limited to, changing the default home page and search provider of the web browser, modifying the browser's search box and address bar, and adjusting the 'new tab' functionality to launch the modified search portal page. Additionally, the extension has the capability to perform automatic updates without requiring user initiation.
