This toolbar/web browser extension is typically installed as an optional offer, often bundled with third-party software. During setup, the toolbar will modify the home page and new tab pages to an affiliate search portal using a primary search engine to generate shared search revenue. It will also modify the default search provider. The End User License Agreement (EULA) states that during installation, users will be given the option to allow SaveDaily Deals to become their default search engine and/or default home page. If consent is given to make SaveDaily Deals the home page, it will appear each time the Internet browser is opened. Similarly, if consent is given to make SaveDaily Deals the default search engine, it will be set as such in the browser. SaveDaily Deals web search services will then be used for queries entered in the browser search box, address bar, and for misspelled or incorrectly formatted submissions in the browser address bar.
