Songbird is a versatile music player that harnesses the power of cross-platform frameworks such as Mozilla XULRunner and GStreamer media framework. However, the open-source community has created a separate, Windows and Linux-compatible version known as Nightingale. This player is capable of handling a wide array of audio formats, including MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, Apple Lossless, and WMA.
