About SN.Booster?
This is a web browser extension developed by JustPlug. It and distributed via the WebPick (InstalleRex) download and install manager. The extension is included with various adware offer bundles and operates across multiple browsers. It consists of a Windows service, an auto-starting component, and a browser toolbar/plugin designed to inject advertisements, including banner ads, hyper-text links, and pop-ups, into the user's browser. Some versions may also hijack existing advertising on websites and inject affiliate codes in links as coupon offers. The displayed advertisements may include deceptive malvertising ads prompting 'required' updates for common programs, as well as unwanted pop-up advertisements. Downloading these programs may also result in the installation of bundled adware utilities and additional browser extensions. Furthermore, components of the program may modify the browser's default security settings.
