Freecorder Toolbar for IE

The Freecorder Toolbar for Internet Explorer was a former toolbar developed for Internet Explorer by Conduit ClientConnect, now Perion, community toolbar platform. The toolbar operated as an Internet Explorer toolbar and Browser Helper Object. According to the License Agreement, the installation process of the Conduit Software and/or the Customized Software may have included changes to Internet Browser, mobile device, and social network account settings. It also featured the 'Value Apps' adware, providing additional functionalities and incorporating various adware extensions such as Cash Back and Price Gong. The toolbar's End User License Agreement stated the following capabilities: - Permitting Conduit access to location-based information. - Permitting Conduit access to information from the user's social network account. - Modification of the default search engine, including the Browser's built-in search box and address bar. - Addition of alternative error page functionalities, such as "Page Not Found." - Alteration of the default Home Page and/or New Tabs, while safeguarding search settings.
