About SearchToolbar?
The Findeer SearchToolbar is an adware toolbar available for Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome. It gathers and retains information about online browsing habits, transmitting this data to remote servers to facilitate the insertion of advertising in search results and other online locations. Additionally, the toolbar can alter the user's browser homepage and search provider, display pop-up advertisements, and monitor and report on browsing activity. The toolbar serves targeted search results and pop-up ads based on the user's inputted search terms, and integrates its own browser toolbar and browser helper objects (BHO) into Internet Explorer for monitoring search terms and implementing the toolbar. The program may also send event logs and other system-related information to a server, and update without user notification.
