Connect DLC 5 Toolbar for IE

Connect DLC is a web browser toolbar for Internet Explorer developed by Conduit Connect. This toolbar operates as a Browser Helper Object and web browser extension, and is distributed through the Conduit/Perion monetization platform. While typically offered as an optional installation, this software is often bundled with third-party applications. Upon installation, the IE toolbar will modify the home page and new tab pages to a Conduit-controlled search portal, with Bing serving as the primary search engine. Additionally, it will change the default search provider to use Bing. The software's license states that during installation, users may be given the option to change their Internet Browser settings, mobile device settings, and/or social network account settings. This may include changing the default search engine in the Internet Browser, enabling software updates of the Conduit Software, and granting Conduit access to information contained on the user's social network account or site. Users must explicitly and separately opt in to provide access to their social network information.
