This program, developed by Web-Picks (InstalleRex), is part of the adware browser extensions and is related to the BrowseToSave program, which has been renamed to increase user confusion. Browse2save installs the Savings Apps Browser Add-on, a web browser extension compatible with Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. The software is designed to track the user's online activities, enabling the display of coupons, deals, discounts, special offers, promotional codes, and sales from affiliate stores and other merchants based on the user's browsing context. The add-on provides access to coupons based on the user's search activity or the websites visited, where the Browser Add-on is installed and enabled, through a self-updating downloadable toolbar or browser extension. Note: Some antivirus programs may detect this software as malware, including VIPRE (Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT), ESET-NOD32 (Win32/Adware.MultiPlug.I), and AhnLab-V3 (Win-Adware/KorAd.120832).
