Skyrocket Player

Skyrocket is an ad-supported software program that may inject various forms of ads in the user's web browser and displayed videos. It is designed to place display ads, banners, or coupons into web pages or displaying over parts of such web pages that advertisements would not otherwise appear on the underlying website. In addition, it converts words on pages into hyperlinks that are linked to advertisements. According to the End User License Agreement (EULA), Skyrocket Player software enables users to watch video content while still having access to and use of other applications on the computer. The unique "view-through" technology plays videos in a partially transparent player that reveals what's under the Skyrocket Player. It also includes a control bar for video control, content selection, and video and web content search functions. The Service may also show ads dispersed within the video content played in the Skyrocket Player and provide an optional home page with convenient search and an optional ability to set the browser’s default search powered by a Skyplayer partner. The software is distributed by Useful Software / Blinkx (dba Skyplayer) based in Bellevue, WA.
