The software features a "Trusted Advertisements" function that is designed to display advertisements from a trusted source in areas of webpages where ads are normally blocked on the user's computer. Additionally, the "Trusted Advertisements" feature overlays search result ads with advertisements from a trusted source in the form of an overlay window. This window is identified by a disclosure of "AT-M Ad" in the top left or right section. To view other ads beneath the overlay window and close it, users can click the "See Non AT-M Ad" link present on the window. Users who opt to receive "Trusted Advertisements" with the software provide explicit permission to AdTrustMedia to send advertisements solely from AdTrustMedia and its affiliates. If users do not wish to receive ads solely from AdTrustMedia and/or its affiliates, they should not check or install this option. When an advertisement is displayed, a disclosure is shown at the bottom right of the ad, indicated by "AT-M Ad" and an icon.
